Citizen Kelly Moves to Evenings on WCGO
EVANSTON, IL, October 8, 2017 – “The Citizen Kelly Show”, hosted by William J. Kelly, has moved up to evenings on AM 1590 WCGO. The Emmy award-winning producer and political commentator kicks off his daily show from 10:00 pm to midnight Monday through Friday this week. The show is also available online at www.1590wcgo.com.
No stranger to controversy, Kelly recently announced he is challenging incumbent Governor Bruce Rauner in the 2018 Republican primary. Rauner is under fire nationally for signing a bill that expands taxpayer-funded abortion and makes Illinois a sanctuary state.
“The Citizen Kelly Show doesn’t just read the news, we make news and that’s why our listener base is growing,” Kelly says.
The show’s time change come on the heels of the station’s purchase William Pollack, owner of Elgin-based WRMN-AM 1410. Pollack said he plans to keep the 10,000 watt station’s format in place while he builds its brand and promotes his new holding.
The Citizen Kelly Show takes on the worlds of politics and entertainment in “humorous pursuit of truth, justice and all things America.” For more information about the Citizen Kelly Show, visit www.citizenkelly.com.
