ABOUT CITIZEN KELLY

Kelly is the midday host of the “Citizen Kelly Show” on AM 1590 WCGO and a former writer for the Washington Times.  In 1993, Kelly made national headlines after he was arrested and charged with a federal crime for asking President Bill Clinton about his broken promise of a middle class tax cut at a conference. After Kelly announced he was running against former Black Panther Defense Minister Rep. Bobby Rush, the charges were dropped.  In 2015, Kelly ran against Emanuel and infamously busted the campaign limits in the mayoral race, forcing Rahm into an first-ever run-off election. Kelly is a contributor to Daily Caller, American Spectator, and Breitbart.com and others.
