Daily Caller: Time for Trump to Defund the ‘Hamilton’ Left

The Culture War has not ended. It is escalating. The Thought Police are marshalling their resources against the 61 million people who voted for Donald Trump.
‘Hamilton’ actor Brandon Victor Dixon exposed this elitist cultural divide when he treated Vice President-elect Mike Pence to an on-stage scolding that some have called “bullying.”
“We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” Dixon scolded.
It was yet another liberal temper tantrum over the election results.
To Dixon, Pence’s simple act of attending a Broadway show was an act of criminal trespass. Pence is a foreigner, an outsider. He didn’t belong there, or so the progressives believe, and he isn’t the only one. In today’s America, working class Americans don’t visit “the theater” and I would bet most have never even been to a Broadway show. That is a luxury that they can’t afford. The ‘Hamilton’ actors live in a different world – a privileged world – where they can afford to be insufferably self-consumed. It is this privileged class that is, even now, fighting to keep a tax provision that allows live-theater backers deductions in a show’s first year. Sen. Chuck Schumer is the architect of the Broadway’s tax break.
Who pays for Broadway’s tax write-off? Middle-class taxpayers.
Brandon Dixon apparently didn’t get the memo.
I won’t hold my breath waiting for Broadway or Hollywood or progressives or the violent anti-Trump protesters to learn tolerance for free speech and thought. They’ve already condemned us, calling us racists, sexists, misogynists, homophobes, haters, Islamaphobes, and bullies. We hate the poor. We are against inclusion. We are against equality. Why? Because our existence threatens their quest for one world government and redistribution of wealth. Because we are still free and they don’t want us to be.
As an alum of Chicago’s Second City with Tina Fey and an Emmy award-winning producer, I’ve witnessed this industry bigotry and hatred first hand. This ruling class celebrates censorship. They criminalize speech and thought. They destroy the reputations and finances of those who dare to think differently. Friends of Abe – the secret society of Hollywood conservatives – exists because conservative actors have to hide for fear of industry retribution.
Why wasn’t liberal actor Alec Baldwin banished in Hollywood for 10 years after making an anti-gay slur like conservative Catholic director Mel Gibson was after his drunken tirade?
Baldwin, who currently plays Donald Trump on SNL, beats up photographers, calls gays “faggots,” black ex-NYPD officers “coons,” and his own 11 year-old daughter a “pig.”
But he is an Obama supporter so that makes everything is A-OK.
